Drawing for Mindfulness
This course is suitable for beginners and intermediates.
Drawing is a great way to relax and unwind which is something that we too often forget to do. This course aims to offer a calm, relaxed and non judgemental environment where we will explore line drawing, Zentangles, pattern and other mindful artistic techniques.
The course cost includes all materials as well as a sketchbook that you can carry on filling up at home.
The Formal Elements
In this course we explore the formal elements of art in a relaxed and informal way. The course is suitable for beginners and intermediates wishing to refresh their knowledge.
The elements we explore are:
line, shape, form, tone, texture, pattern and colour.
They are often used together, and how they are organised in a piece of art determines what the finished piece will look like.
This is a great course for those wishing to begin an artistic hobby as it gives you a fantastic basis from which to start, it also acts as a great refresher.
The course includes all materials as well as a sketchbook that you are encouraged to work in at home.
